About

As the driving force behind Community Focused Ventures, Peter J. Cioe brings over 20 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries—and channels it into building better, more connected communities. With a B.S.E.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business, Peter’s background combines analytical precision with entrepreneurial vision.

As an engineer, Peter is a natural problem solver—and he was drawn to the complex challenges of our built environment. What began as a hobby rehabilitating single-family homes in Dallas quickly evolved into a full-time commitment to real estate development. But it wasn’t until he discovered the principles of New Urbanism and the growing community of small-scale developers that he found his true calling.

To deepen his construction expertise, Peter earned a Certificate in Commercial Construction Management from Dallas College and is a licensed real estate sales agent in Texas.

Inspired by his upbringing in the walkable neighborhoods of Rhode Island, Peter is a passionate advocate for New Urbanism—an approach that prioritizes human-scale development, mixed-use neighborhoods, and vibrant public spaces. He currently serves as board president of the Congress for the New Urbanism North Texas Chapter, where he has been a board member for the past three years.

Through CFV Property Solutions, Peter leads the management and repositioning of small commercial and multifamily properties, applying the values of New Urbanism to every asset. In parallel, CFV Construction focuses on commercial construction and property maintenance, delivering hands-on craftsmanship and long-term stewardship. Together, these efforts reflect Peter’s larger mission: to be a modern Town Maker, thoughtfully shaping places that improve quality of life and strengthen communities.
